Porcupine Rim + LPS (Low Porcupine Singletrack) is the most famous epic ride in Moab for fun, challenging trails and incredible views along the way.
This is the locals favorite out-and-back ride and consists of a wide variety of challenging terrain. Close-in to Moab makes it easily accessible.
This is the best off-the-beaten path slickrock ride in the Moab area. Incredible riding and incredible scenery make this one a hidden jewel.
This is the newest trail system in Moab but destined to be one of the best. Tight, twisty, fun singletrack and slickrock mixed together in one ride.
Even more off-the-beaten path and difficult to find than Bartlett Wash, it offers a beautiful, rugged slickrock riding experience found nowhere else.

Moab is the mountain biking mecca of the world for good reason. Not only are there numerous trails to choose from but there are more mountain bike shops per capita than anywhere else on the planet. Unfortunately many visitors don’t stay long enough in Moab to ride all the best rides or they might not even find out about some of the best rides. Sure, almost everyone says you must ride the Slickrock Trail, which perhaps is true, but crowds and following a painted course across slickrock is not my cup of tea. So, here I’ve presented my favorite five rides you can do in just a four-day trip to Moab and still have time to explore the town.

I have also compiled a website with my diary and photos from these rides as well as ride guides for these routes to help make your ride an awesome experience!Click on the images below for the photos or the trail names for the ride guides.
